Bose is a Berklee grad and has toured the WORLD!

Bose graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a music performance degree in 2003. She’s been teaching since she graduated, starting her teaching career at a Renaissance Charter School in Boston, MA. She also coordinated the end of the year concerts. Bose teaches all styles, from R&B, rock, blues, jazz, gospel to funk and classical, to name a few. Her performances include lead vocalist for several jazz and R&B bands in the Boston area from 2001 to 2004. Bose has toured abroad touring with a professional gospel group to France, Germany and Switzerland, and performed for the president of Nigeria back in 2006. Bose has also done several recording projects. She continues to perform and use her gift and love for music as a praise and worship Leader as well as a corporate band singer.

Trevor graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno NV in 2007 to receive a Bachelor of Classical and Jazz Trumpet performance. He continued his education at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA to receive a Master of Fine Arts in 2010. Trevor plans on applying for the doctoral program in conducting at the University of Washington for the Fall of 2015. He also attended the School for Improvisational Music in Brooklyn, New York, in 2006. He started his musical training at the age of ten, first on piano and then two years later on the trumpet, and continued studying privately through high school. During college, he has performed in ensembles, big bands, jazz combos, university orchestras, wind ensembles and brass ensembles, as well as touring nationally. He was lead trumpet/soloist with a drum and bugle corps from 2003-2005, and was a member of the Reno Philharmonic from 2007-2008. Trevor has been teaching since 2002, teaching trumpet, trombone, and piano, both privately and group classes at the high school level, as well as directing various ensembles, and is currently teaching at local high schools in their marching bands, jazz ensembles and brass sections. Trevor also coached a vanguard drum and bugle corps from 2009-2013 in various high schools. Along with teaching, Trevor continues to perform locally as soloists and in ensembles, as well as doing recording projects in both the classical and jazz genres. He offers classical, jazz, rock, Eastern European, funk, African, and Latin styles among other styles.

Matt’s “dayjob” is playing guitar with Martin Fry and ABC, Julian Lennon and Bananarama. He’s an avid guitar collector as well.


Sixty eight year old Bill Blue had not stepped foot in a recording studio in 30 years. After spending decades touring, Bill essentially dropped off the face of the planet. He was rediscovered by legendary producer Ian Shaw and coaxed back into the studio. The result is Mojolation, a record with power and punch delivered by a true bluesman.

Our friend Benji Shanks is touring with Kristian Bush and played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville last week. It’s every artists dream to play this stage. Congrats Benji!


Meet our New Instructors! Matthew has a BA in Violin Performance and more

Matthew graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA in 2005 with a Bachelor in Violin Performance and Artist Diploma in Orchestral Conducting. He continued there to receive a Masters in Orchestral Conducting from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2007. While attending the university, he attended many master classes from notable musicians and professors. Matthew has performed professionally since 1999 as principal or assistant principal violist for ensembles, including the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra (MD), Opera Camerata of Washington (DC), and the Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra. He has taught in public, private and parochial schools since 1998 and 2002 on a full-time basis, and served as the Music Director and Conductor of both the Laurel Presbyterian Church (MD) and the Repertory Opera Theater of Washington (DC), which merited a review in the Washington Post for his conducting. Matthew offers all styles, from classical to contemporary styles.
